Open Letter to all my Kids

I have thought several times about what I would say if I could gather all my kids together.

Would I try to give you some sage advice to hold on to for the rest of your lives?

Would I tell you how proud I am of each of you?

Would I tell you what I learned from knowing each of you?

Honestly, if I every were able to gather all of you in one place I would probably spend the first ten minutes humbly crying at the sight of all of you under one roof! And a massive group picture would absolutely have to happen!

Please know that not a day go by that I don’t think of you. I still hold a special place in my heart for each and every one of you. I love you more than words can say. I am proud of how far so many of you have come!

My advice would be to please always strive to keep Jesus close. Lean on Him in hard times and dance with Him in the good. Read your Bible daily, a physical Bible so no one can lie to you or sway you in what the truth is. Pray throughout the day, allow God to direct your steps.

You will still make mistakes. But give yourself grace and mercy. Take time to stop and breath. You must take care of yourself so that you can be there for others. Don’t sweat the small stuff, but don’t overlook the big stuff. Take time to put your phone down and just take in what your life is.

Please know that no matter where you go or what you do, you will ALWAYS have me cheering for you to win, praying for you to succeed, and longing for the day I see you meet Jesus face to face!

Love always, Your Momma T!
